Full Job Description

West Penn Landscaping, a locally owned, full-service landscaping company based in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, is looking for landscape crew members & crew leaders for immediate employment.

Landscaping duties including but not limited to: use hand/power tools & other equipment, lay sod, mow, trim/pruning, plant, fertilize, dig, rake, leaf removal, mulching. Experience with zero turn mowers is a plus. Willing to train the right candidate. Must be able to lift / carry 50 lbs. as needed. Saturday work as needed. Maintains equipment and vehicles in proper operating condition by checking fluid levels, greasing parts and sharpening or replacing mower blades. We do commercial/residential snow removal and may have a driving/crew position open for this as well. Must have clean driving record, valid PA Driver's License and be comfortable operating a truck. We are looking for hard-working landscape, hardscape, & lawn care team members that want to grow with our company and show up every day!

Requirements:

•High school diploma/GED preferred

•General knowledge of landscape maintenance

•Experience with professional landscaping company preferred, not necessary

•Able to lift at least 50 lbs

•Ability to operate various equipment

•Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

•Ability to work varied shifts and long hours during peak operation times (spring, summer and fall)

•Must have valid driver’s license and transportation to and from work.
